NPB's Intention On AG...

I think that a huge problem with the forum is that there are just way too freaking many subforums. I think separate album and singles subforums is beyond ridiculous, especially for such a small forum.

I feel that the best way for a small forum to attract new members is downloads. The best way to keep them here is a loving and or interesting community. The former is easier imo. I propose that myself and ames get to work on that part xD

I exactly did that in my previous forum and it didn't even have as much attraction as here.
This forum here has been recording over 200 guests per day who come and read stuff found from Google, Yahoo and any other search engines. They just didn't post. At the moment, I don't mind that.

As for the numbers of categories, there's gonna be a solution if people ain't too stupid to understand because I'll tell them in their face that they're too stupid to understand.
Things are gonna get organized in one way that no one else has seen and I don't intend to make this forum look like any fucking other forums. My ambition is high and I know the moment is not here yet but I know I don't need to COPY what other forums do. Fuck that shit if they have success from there but I ain't gonna walk in their path. I make MY own path.

Still everyone, thanks for the suggestions that I've already seen in other forums. I just want uniqueness and NOT GIVING UP on that. Who has some sense of originality, creativity and more imaginations here?

This is a huge puzzle and AG2 is having a major role. I can't blame people for not understanding the incoming plan from AG2 because I don't think anyone has seen such thing before which is gonna be like a slap in people's face.

The whole concept behind is not just a forum. It's more than a forum.

Yes, this place has so many guests reading things after they've found it on Google/Yahoo/Etc...
Even a friend in real life who also knew me as "NPBundercover" back in the days when I was a member of AsianAvenue... He came to me and said "Hey I saw you as a member on a forum called Asian something... AsianGround I think"... And he admitted that he was only browsing around Google and came here as a guest... He doesn't feel like joining in conversations... Many people simply enjoy reading... That's a good thing though...

to be honest.. I prefer boards that dont require registration and dont identify its members.. I'm sure you have previously visited boards like 2ch.net and 4chan.org....

2ch.net aka 2channel... is the largest forum in the world. Its a Japanese based forum that recieves over 1 million posts a DAY... There is no registration.. users are completely Anonymous.

4chan.org is the largest English based image board on the web... it's based off of 2ch. So obviously.. it is completely anonymous... (thats why the community there is identified as Anonymous... which i talk about in a thread in General Chat)

i think Anonymous communities like this grow so vast because people feel more comfortable posting honestly knowing that they dont have to worry about a reputation and can be more honest and open.

Also, it seems that the largest forums on the web... like 4chan, 2ch, totse, rotteneggs, ebaumsworld, etc... they all have something in common. ...Uncensorship. These communities promote free-information which means people there can talk freely about things that are taboo in real world society.. they can talk about drugs, sex, violence, things that are illegal, etc. People in these places can be totally unreserved. (with the exception of CP [child pornography] because that just leads to trouble and the consequence of the site being shut down by the authorities)

Now i'm not saying that AG should be more like these kind of sites... i'm just saying that those are some reasons why i think THOSe sites attract so many people. Obviously... AG will not become an anonymous board, and probably wont have any sections for drugs, sex, violence, porn, etc...

Probably... it is impossible for AG to reach that magnitude.. .however AG can still become a large community... there seem to be some decent sized boards out there that are more reserved...but it seems like they are dominated by file sharing...

Normal topics...even educationally inclined topics..can be found on larger boards and i think people will be drawn to those larger boards first because there are more people to participate in the discussions...

thinking about how other sites become popular... you could always resort to the black magic of the internet... perhaps "Google bombing" or other computer savvy... hacker-ish tricks are a necessity...
