| Well well... We can say I was bored... But Taozi jie really wanted me to make a longer video of my speed demo in martial arts... Let's not forget I gave up martial arts long time ago and until now, I'm in another form of fighting, close to "assassins" type... Well... "Street fights" which is totally not based on "arts" or hmmm "style of fighting", the stance and stuff like that... So I'm quite rusty in "style" BUT I haven't lost my speed... I may even have improved and I'm really obsessed over "speed+power" so I'm still working on it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVdzdKjGth0_________________ "If I'm nothing to you but you keep saying that nothing is better than you, think twice." - NPB I mostly teach tricks for WINDOWS XP but don't hesitate to ask some questions about WINDOWS VISTA. | | Spoiler: | | | Hell yeah, welcome to my world of Martial Arts. I've stopped practicing shaolin kung fu and muay thai long time ago (my two most recent) but I've been street fighting still, training around with skills, etc. I made a video to show my speed. The video to show my power and success in street fighting will come separately later. And let me tell you, "speed" IS NOT USELESS. Tell me, which human being has the eyes of diamonds, anti-human-bites skin, etc? Ok, my style is not meant to be for UFC or any cage fighting with rules. Without a doubt, there's a good chance I would lose in this SPORT or COMPETITION against those massive fighters. But real street fights are NOT sports. They are equal to WAR. Now if any of you is telling me that "speed is useless", well let me tell you that you got stuck with rules in your mind... Street fights have no rules so I can poke your eyes out and replace your testicules with them. I've taught / instructed about 20 people so far and all of them have been having intimidating success... Few of them became security guards HAHAHA I'm proud of them. While others are probably enjoying in street gang wars... I'll try to instruct online as well... Not gonna be easy though. Aaaanyway. When I talk about speed, power is very important too. Actually, from my experience in the streets (I say "streets" though they happened to be in restaurants, houses, etc), speed + power + combos have been my best "trio" for success. Why combos? Because you must not let your opponent breath. In another word, you must "steal his breath" and dig for an extremely huge advantage. You must not let him get back to his position, you must not let him recover, you must let nothing for him until you completely destroy him. He must be mistified and you must have no mercy at all. It's not like throwing few punches and step back. And it's not like throwing random hits as much as you can either. Combos are not made up in advanced... They must almost be improvised. It's making the first quick hits, by then, depending on how your opponent is "managing" those hits, you must be able to find an opened weakness somewhere and hopefully go for one of the most lethal hits, continuing the combo. Of course you must be quick and not hesitant. Using about 10% to 60% of power in our hits are mostly for "blocking", "diversion hits", "shocking hits", etc... Using over 60% to about 95% maximum of our power is mostly for huge deadly strikes. It's important to know how to breath and maintain our energy, balance, body control, etc. Over 95% is like a "finish him". Not recommended at all if you do it while your opponent is still not weak enough to receive them. If you miss your shot, you may lose balance or you may just simply leave a huge opportunity for your opponent to hit you really hard unless you recover really fast. You can't have perfect control over your body once you surpass 95% of your power unless you're Bruce Lee. If your enemy is already weak from the beginning because he sucks in fighting, then a "finish him" at the beginning can be done... Up to you. You're the fighter now. Keys: Vital points, sensible parts and fragile areas to break bones with ease (or tear up ligament or whatever). And remember, you don't need baseball bats, pipes or whatever once you've become a deadly fighter. Nearly useless. But talking about knives/katana/guns is another story... (for me). |
Facts:
I had to think about a person I hate to make this video. Listen carefully. You can hear the sound of my punches and kicks. Some are faster, some are slower. About 0:34, I wanted to show how "good breathing" is so important in fighting. It's not some kind of random breath. This is also how the sifu would teach you, the Qi Gong. My punches and kicks went faster compared to the previous ones (I did the same moves three times, one with "focusing on how to hit", one with "releasing anger", and last one with "controlling breath" - Best result). All these don't necessarily mean "you must not be angry". No. You gotta have some inner anger but you gotta know how to control it, with good breath. It's quite weird and hard to explain. Anyway, right after that, I was waving at someone outside (walking by) and then I made a move to drag the carpet back correctly... HAHA. AFTER that, I was doing slower-weaker combos since I was hesitating about the fact that I didn't have enough space to show off those combos more correctly so "f*ck it". But I said "f*ck" because the imaginary man I was beating up was not beaten up enough. So I went back with double-kicks on the nuts. But then a baby cried so it messed up my video for a bit. 1:16! The last kick+punch, we can clearly hear the sound of those hits. But then it's not over yet. 1:26 is where you hear it better. HAHA! But my sunglasses almost flew off. 1:33 / 1:34 is the "end of my combo" and also my most powerful punch of the combo ---> The camcorder was about 30cm away from my punches and managed to move by 1mm from the last punch. Later, I was doing my "fists of rage" towards the camera but it messed up the recording (as we see the sort of "lines" or whatever it's called) and it seems to be freezing and not looking smooth at all. Haha oh yeah the right punches at no mercy. I called it "vampire right punches" as... "slaughter with one single fist". Like an abnormal vampire bat using one wing to slaughter his prey. And as I'm known as a vampire here (or demon in Asia), why not call it that way... My right punches... AKA... "The vampire right punches"... Anyway, last scene was meant to be a blooper for another "speed demo" which is supposed to be in my next comedy video. Right there, people are gonna understand why the hell I was punching a towel... But right there, I was using about 50% of my power. So as you know, I almost destroyed the bathroom. Over 80%, I may have not been able to catch that towel after the punch. Over 95%, I would have fell in the bath. HAHAHA! I had to use 10%. A hung wet towel punched by me at over 95% of my power can knock out a person at the other side without me even touching him/her but just the towel.
Bruce?
Oh and whoever wants to compare me with Bruce Lee, I'd be truly honored even if all comments are gonna be 100% negative. What's more honorable than being compared to a legend, right? I'm wishing for some guys to mention his name at least hahaha! I'd be happy. Let me tell you that Bruce Lee (according to infos I got from my former sifu) trained way much more than anyone else I've met in my "fighting world" including Shaolin Masters (people you shouldn't already mess with) <--- I mean "in terms of average of hours to train in fighting per day", Bruce Lee owns all fighters. We could almost say he trained to death in that area. Conclusion? He's UNTOUCHABLE. He'll remain the best in balance of speed+power. Once again, to whoever thinks speed is shit? I'll repeat ---> "You'll lose your eyes and get them replaced by testicles before you even launch a punch". One of my most popular quotes. Speed is so important for dodging, creating illusion, being faster, reflex, being unseen, etc... All the advantage. But power is not usless either. Power doesn't own speed. Speed doesn't own power. If one owns another, it would just depend on how good the fighter is, not the fact that speed owns power or the other way around. Whatever style fits him most and how well he uses it. But speed+power has shown more success. So don't ditch the speed! Bruce has the best speed ever so far. + great power!_________________ "If I'm nothing to you but you keep saying that nothing is better than you, think twice." - NPB I mostly teach tricks for WINDOWS XP but don't hesitate to ask some questions about WINDOWS VISTA.
